At Nokhanya Psychometrics, our mission is to provide quality and professional assessment services. We wish to always have people and their best interest as the centre of our focus. We believe that our purpose is not to see through one another, but to see one another through. We view psychological assessment as a means to see the next person through by assisting them in making the best decision whether in career choice, personal development or recruitment.

Who we are
Boipelo Noko
Born in the Northern Cape and raised up in the North West, I am a small town girl with a big heart. Service has always been at the center of my being and more so finding purpose and joy in what I do and how I live. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the North West University (Potchefstroom), my Honours degree in Counselling Psychology through UNISA and finally my Psychometry degree through the University of Johannesburg. It is my belief that one should always light a candle, rather than curse the dark. I strive to always put my best foot forward and meet everyone with a smile and respect.

Nomtha Makhanya
My name Nomtha means “a ray of sunlight” and I strive to live up to my name by lighting up the path for others to find their way, grow and succeed. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Johannesburg and did my honours in Counselling Psychology through UNISA. The road that led me to study Psychometry was a long and windy one, and this has fuelled my passion to assist others in making choices that make the road a little less windy. I believe in being true to yourself as much as possible and doing things that set your soul on fire. I believe in living a life that is aligned with your purpose. I believe that my purpose lies in helping others realise theirs.

High School Career Guidance / Subject Choice
We offer a modern approach to career guidance that helps students to prepare themselves for the ever changing world of work in the 4th Industrial Revolution. The focus of our assessments is to foster choices that will lead to lifelong adaptability and employability.We aim to empower students to make career choices that honour their authentic selves.
Subject choice assessments for Grade 9 students include an assessment of personality, aptitude and interests. Subject choice can have a significant impact on the student’s future study options and career path.
Career guidance assessments for Grade 10-12 students includes an assessment of personality, aptitude, values, and interests.
Mid Career Guidance / Career Shift
There might come a time in life when we may feel as though our current careers no longer bring us joy or leave us feeling drained. Nokhanya Psychometrics offers career guidance for adults who are interested in a career transition through assessment of personality, interests, values and cognitive ability. The aim of this service is to encourage working adults to realign their work with their values by clearly identifying their strengths and areas of development.
